Moc Che Dive

The husband has been working so hard lately, but I finally convinced him to take a break with me and spend the day diving.  We pretty much decided this was going to be our last dive in PdC, but we are going to continue diving in Cozumel and the Bahamas.  On this dive we went to Moc Che Deep and Shallow.  On the first dive, I felt really comfortable in the water, but I feel like I was weighted too heavy.  With deeper dives, I think this is pretty common.  At about 85 feet, we saw a group of 3 ENORMOUS spotted sting rays swimming in formation and a GIGANTIC sea turtle.  It's funny how Jade and I don't even have to speak to each other, obviously you can't underwater, but we both know what the other is thinking.  Super chido!  Cool!  Our Dive Leader was pretty stoked about the sightings too.  I think it was his first time watching giant rays swimming in formation.

I found some photos online of the type of sting rays we saw.  Que padre!

In this area, sting rays can get up to 12 feet wide!  Wow!  Could you imagine this thing coming for you?  Yikes!

I have, need, want to buy an underwater camera to capture the awesome images of the fish and wildlife we see every time we are underwater.

What kind of underwater camera do you use?

    1. Thanks! I would be a little nervous if that ray was coming towards me.
